We currently have three bands.
Junior Band
Our junior band, conducted by Christine Grier, consists of our younger musicians. Our junior band has performed at national competitions over the years including the South of Ireland Band Championships at Clonakilty Co. Cork.
Senior Band
Our senior band, conducted by Michelle O’Reilly, consists of musicians typically over the age of ~14. Our senior band has participated at national and international competitions and events over the years, such as the South of Ireland Band Championships in Clonakilty Co. Cork, and the European Music Festival for Young People in Neerpelt, Belgium.
Jazz Band
Our jazz band, The Swing Kings, conducted by Rob Sheldrick, is an amateur big band which has over the years performed at various charity fundraisers, community events and at none other than the Cork Jazz Festival!
